The Airport is located in the village Milford Sound located at the head of the fiord Milford Sound. It is mainly used by tourist / flightseeing operators. There is no master volume, and this thing is LOUD for 20 watts I’ve needed to use the power scaling feature even on medium sized gigs. The stock power tubes have been replaced with Tung-Sol E元4B tubes. Pulled out, you have both the bright and and normal channels jumpered internally, and you can use both volume pots to shape your sound. The Gain pot is push-pull pushed in, only the bright channel is active. “Gain” is the Bright channel volume, and “Tilt” is the Normal channel volume. Presence, Treble, Middle, Bass all work as per usual. The stock origin 20 amp is a clean pedal platform- The amp you’re about to purchase is a high gain shredder. The preamp has been changed to that of a non-master-volume 1959 Super Lead, and the power tube voltages have been internally lowered to emulate the Variac “brown sound” which gives the amp a much different feel. This is an Origin 20 on the outside but internally is an entirely different amp.
